Rep. Lang Announces Committees and Caucuses
Austin, TX – Today, Texas State Representative Mike Lang would like to formally announce his House Committee assignments and his involvement with a multitude of caucuses in the Texas House of Representatives.
Representative Lang was appointed to House Committees on Criminal Jurisprudence and Special Purpose Districts. The former will debate issues pertaining to criminal laws and procedures, while the latter will discuss topics regarding special purpose districts across Texas.
"I am very excited to take part in both of these crucial committees. I am here to serve my district as well as the State of Texas. With my background, I believe I can make a difference in the committees I have been placed in," said Representative Lang.
Along with Representative Lang's committee appointments, the Representative has decided to take part in the Caucus, the House Energy Caucus, the Freedom Caucus, the Texas Veterans Caucus, the Agricultural Caucus, the Aerospace Caucus, General Aviation Caucus, and the Texas Conservative Coalition. Representative Lang is also an integral player in the Rural Caucus as one of the Vice Chairs.
"As the State Representative for a very diverse district, I want to be involved in caucuses that I believe will translate well to the needs of District 60. It is my duty to put the interests of the people who inhabit my district, first and foremost, and I feel my association with these caucuses will help me to better serve District 60 and Texas," Lang continued.
Representative Mike Lang currently serves as State Representative for District 60, consisting of eight counties. Lang resides in Granbury with his loving wife, Katie, where they are active members of Stonewater Church.
