State Representative Jeff Leach Elected to Texas Conservative Coalition Research Institute Board of Directors
AUSTIN – During its annual board of directors meeting, the Texas Conservative Coalition Research Institute (TCCRI) unanimously elected State Representative Jeff Leach to serve on its Board of Directors. A longtime member of TCCRI, Representative Leach is serving his fourth term representing the citizens of House District 67, which encompasses portions of Plano, Allen, Richardson and Dallas in Collin County. Representative Leach currently serves as Chairman of the Texas House Committee on Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence.
“The Texas Miracle is alive and well," stated Leach. "This is a result of our state’s leaders, in both the public and private sectors, advancing commonsense, free-market policies that have distinguished the Lone Star State as the economic envy of the nation. I am grateful to be elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Texas Conservative Coalition Research Institute and I am immensely honored to join such a highly respected voice in the public policy arena, not only here in Texas, but nationwide. I look forward to working alongside my legislative colleagues, the TCCRI staff and our many partners across the state to advance conservative policies that continue to protect taxpayers and make the State of Texas even stronger and more robust than it already is.”
TCCRI was founded in 1996 by a group of state leaders determined to implement conservative public policies in state government. TCCRI has been very successful in living up to its mission of shaping public policy through a principled approach to government. The work of TCCRI is based upon the four core principles of Limited Government, Individual Liberty, Free Enterprise, and Traditional Values. Together, they form the LIFT principles and underpin the work of TCCRI’s board of directors and staff.
