TxDOT Announces Re-opening of the Pine Island Bayou Boat Ramp
Austin, TX) – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has announced that the boat ramp at Pine Island Bayou has been re-opened to the public. TxDOT reconstructed the boat ramp as part of the project to connect the frontage roads between Hardin and Jefferson counties. In addition to a new boat ramp, the area includes an improved parking lot and a dock.
"I am thankful to TxDOT for making these improvements to the boat ramp which allow our Texas citizens the option to enjoy our natural landscapes in Southeast Texas," said State Representative James White.
