Representative Sarah Davis Committee Assignments for the 85th Legislative Session
AUSTIN, TX- Four-Term State Representative Sarah Davis received committee assignments for the 85th Legislative Session. Speaker Joe Straus assigned Representative Davis to serve on the House Committee on Appropriations, the House Committee on Calendars, and the House Committee on Corrections. In addition to these assignments, Speaker Straus named Sarah the Chair the House Committee on General Investigating and Ethics.
As member of these powerful committees, Representative Davis will be participate in shaping a fiscally responsible budget for the next two years, ensuring public trust in public entities, and protecting the wellbeing of all Texans. These assignments complement her experience and dedication in shaping common sense policy for the state.
