REP. REYNOLDS SPONSORING THE FT. BEND FAMILY HEALTH CENTER'S ANNUAL HEALTH FAIR
AUSTIN (July 11, 2011)- Representative Reynolds (Fort Bend-District 27) will be sponsoring the Fort Bend Family Health Center's Annual Health Fair which will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011. The Health Fair will take place from 9am to Noon at the Missouri City Annex at 307 Texas Parkway in Missouri City.
"I am honored to be one of the sponsors of this important event for our community," said Reynolds. "This will provide families the opportunity to bring their children for crucial services free of charge such as immunizations, and dental and vision screenings. We will also be providing school children with school supplies while they last."
The Fort Bend Family Health Center is a private, not-for-profit federally qualified health center that serves Fort Bend County and the surrounding areas. Fort Bend Family Health Center is a United Way Agency. Each year the Center provides assistance to approximately 27,000 members of the Fort Bend, Waller and Wharton communities through maternity, pediatric and adult clinics, dental services, WIC nutrition program and behavioral health and counseling.
"Congressman Al Green, County Commissioner Grady Prestage, Constable Ruben Davis and I, invite the families of Fort Bend County to come join us at the Health Fair," said Reynolds. "This will be a great family event and we hope that everyone comes out and utilizes the services." This event is in observance of the National Health Center Week.
Rep. Reynolds serves on the Economic and Small Business Development and Environmental Regulation committees. He is a name partner in Brown, Brown & Reynolds, P.C. and is a former Associate Municipal Judge for The City of Houston. Rep.
