AUSTIN - With the Grand Opening of his District Office coming soon, Representative Fierro is happy to announce his staff is already hard at work for the El Paso community. In the El Paso office, Lauren Jones will be serving as the District Director; and Ralph Noriega will be serving as the Constituent Liaison. With any concerns or issues you'd like help addressing, do not hesitate to contact the district office at (915)-629-9522.

The Austin office will be run by Cassidy Riza, who will be leading the policy and legislative efforts preparing for the 87th Legislative Session. Any El Paso visitors that travel to Austin, be sure to stop by the office in E2.422, or call ahead of time and Cassidy will be happy to arrange a private Capitol Tour for your group. Lauren Jones - District Director -

Born in South Africa and raised in Houston, TX, Lauren Jones is a proud Texan through and through. As District Director, she looks forward to working with the community to address any issues that may be present in District 79 and help find solutions. Lauren is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Global Studies, a minor in Latin American Studies, and a certificate in Global Management. After working on multiple political campaigns after graduation and working at the Texas State Capitol as a Policy Director this past legislative session, she is captivated by the issues currently facing Texans, especially on our western border. She believes being in El Paso will give her the invaluable opportunity to learn more about the issues that she cares about most like immigration reform, voting rights, and environmental security.

Ralph Noriega - Constituent Liaison -
A native El Pasoan, and Burges High School graduate, Ralph Noriega is a life-long member of the El Paso community. After an over 40-year food industry career, Ralph is eager to serve as the Constituent Liaison for District 79, bringing his knowledge of the unique needs of El Paso to the office. Ralph will be working closely with members of the community to listen to needs, concerns, and individual caseworks ensuring each voice is heard and addressed. He plans to focus his policy efforts on public education. Coming from a family of teachers, Ralph's main focus is with teacher salaries and ensuring they receive not only pay increases, but compensation for the supplies they purchase with their own means. Ralph lives in El Paso with his wife Veronica, and their German Shepherd, Chloe.

Cassidy Riza - Legislative Director -
A native Texan, Cassidy was born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. As a graduate of Clarendon College, and Texas Tech University, Cassidy is a strong Community College advocate, and is excited to work alongside Representative Fierro ensuring higher education institutions receive the resources they need for student success. Cassidy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Economics and an Associates in Mathematics. With extensive exposure to community college administration, she is eager to focus her policy effort in higher education, as well as using her economic and math background to ensure El Paso receives funding for its vital programs. As she continues her work in Austin, Cassidy is excited to foster more relationships with agencies and offices around the Capitol to best provide for House District 79.
