GLO Homeowner Assistance Program Applications Now Available; HAP Regional Centers Opening in House District 19  print page

(Austin, TX) The General Land Office (GLO) has announced the start of applications for the Homeowner Assistance Program (HAP). These applications will be available to those who need further assistance if they owned their home, it was damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Harvey, and it was their primary residence. Applicant considerations will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and follow priorities outlined in the Regional Housing Guidelines.

Homeowners may apply by submitting the application online, downloading a paper application and mailing it to the regional office, or by visiting the regional office. Visiting the regional office will allow applicants to also receive assistance with the process and appointments can be made in advance online.
