CEDAR PARK, TX- On July 6th State Representative Tony Dale (Cedar Park) received the Outstanding Contribution to Law Enforcement Award from the Texas Police Chiefs Association. This was one of only two awards given out this year.
“It is an honor for the Texas Police Chiefs to bestow on me their Outstanding Contribution to Law Enforcement Award. As a former Cedar Park City Council Member and current member of the House Committee on Homeland Security and Public Safety I am distinctly aware of the sacrifices that Texas’ Police Chiefs make to protect the people of Texas. I have a deep respect for law enforcement and look forward to continuing to work with them in the future,” said Representative Dale.
“It was a great honor recognizing Representative Dale for his outstanding contributions to law enforcement. Tony has a track record of being a staunch supporter of law enforcement and avid advocate for victims of violent crime, making the safety of all Texans a top priority. As proud as I was to be presenting on behalf of the Texas Police Chiefs, I’m even more proud to claim that Representative Dale is my hometown representative.” Said Cedar Park Police Chief Sean Mannix.
The Texas Police Chiefs Association was founded in 1958 to promote, encourage and advance the professional development of Chiefs of Police and senior police management personnel throughout the State of Texas.
State Representative Tony Dale is a member of the House Committees on Homeland Security and Public Safety, Energy Resources and Local & Consent Calendars. He represents southwestern Williamson County, Cedar Park, Leander, Brushy Creek, and parts of Austin and Round Rock.
