CEDAR PARK, TX- Today at the monthly Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce Luncheon the Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas (CLEAT) honored State Representative Tony Dale (R-Cedar Park) with its Best of the House Award. This marks the second consecutive session that Representative Dale has been recognized with an award from CLEAT. In 2013 Representative Dale was awarded freshman of the year. CLEAT is the largest law enforcement organization in Texas.
“It is an honor for CLEAT to bestow on me their Best of the House Award. As a former Cedar Park City Council Member and current member of the House Committee on Homeland Security and Public Safety I am distinctly aware of the sacrifices that CLEAT’s members make to protect the people of Texas. I have a deep respect for law enforcement officers and look forward to continuing to work with them in the future,” said Representative Dale.
“As a member on the House Committee on Homeland Security and Public Safety, Representative Dale stands strong for law enforcement,” said CLEAT Executive Director Charley Wilkison.
“In looking out for the best interests of law enforcement, he has worked hard to ensure officers have the resources needed to do their job and get home safe to their families,” said Wilkison.
“That is why CLEAT is proud to honor him with the Best of the House Award,” he stated.
State Representative Tony Dale is a member of the House Committees on Homeland Security and Public Safety, Energy Resources and Local & Consent Calendars. He represents southwestern Williamson County, Cedar Park, Leander, Brushy Creek, and parts of Austin and Round Rock.
