AUSTIN – State Representative Paul Workman is proud to announce he has been named a "Fighter for Free Enterprise" by the Texas Association of Business (TAB).
"This was a good legislative session for business," said TAB President Bill Hammond. "We are proud to honor Rep. Workman for his support of the business community and the kind of legislation that will keep the Texas economy moving in the right direction. We must continue to create jobs and opportunity and Rep. Workman's support of business-friendly legislation will do just that."
Representative Workman was honored to be named a Fighter for Free Enterprise during his first term in office, making this the second consecutive session he has been recognized as a pro-business legislator by TAB.
As a member of the House Committee on Business & Industry and the House Committee on Small Business & Economic Development, Representative Workman is keenly aware of the issues facing Texas business.
"I am committed to supporting legislation that advances free enterprise and creates jobs here in Texas," Representative Workman remarked. "I will to continue to work to make sure Texas remains the number one state for business and job creation."
Representative Workman has represented District 47 in the Texas House of Representatives since 2011. District 47 includes most of western Travis County as well as portions of southern Travis County.
